Not a minute goes by that I haven't thought about you, Nan. The number of times I've wanted to pick up the phone to hear your voice and talk to you, to moan with you, laugh and just talk for hours, I've lost count. I'm glad you are with Grandad again, as we've had many moments together were we have cried talking about him, or laughed over his stories. Now it's your turn to have the stories shared, so I hope you are listening up there! I'll try my best to replicate your Christmas cakes, even use your method, as cringed out as I felt watching you squelch fruit cake batter in between your fingers. Millie will be looked after, we've all got her. Don't worry. Sleep tight up there, and I'll meet you at the light!

My heart has been completely broken
Since the day you had to go
The memories I'll forever cherish,
but these tears will still flow
Forever I'll think of you
That's just how it will be
Although your now in heaven
I'll know your still here with me.
I wish I could have one more day with you
Just to talk once more
Even give me the that stern look
We have all had that face before.
I will continue to make you proud
And I'll help mum through all her pain
I'll hold my arms out for you
Until we meet again
Love you Nan, Kate xx
